If your mate remains in the org...

some here have had the bonus of their mate leaving with them.

unfortunately, my wife is die-hard.

everything in the org makes sense and if it don't, thats fine too.

I was the first to wake up in our marriage. The hardest thing is exercising patience. When you are in control of your own mental exit, you can pace things so they are as comfortable as possible, that's hard to gauge with a partner.

Legal argument for the accused was presented by lawyers representing the Watchtower Society, including that the accused did not exist.

Interesting. I would think that the defense was that the accused cannot indivdually be identified as they are a composite group, or some other such BS.

I broke the news to my husband by reading aloud passages of Steve Hassan's first book Combatting Cult Mind Control. A couple of days later he was tempted to throw the book in the fire.

probably something wrong with her pacemaker.

she had a cold with a bad cough last week, and a lead may have come loose.

lately i've been finding it more and more difficult to keep up a front.. .

I really feel for you because I was there four years ago. It took me almost a year to build up to speak to my husband about it and we had a hard few months. He is out mentally too now and we are coming to the end of our fade.

It took me so long because I had to come to terms with things myself and allow my anger to subside a bit. If I had splurged it all out at the beginning with the intense rage I felt, I don't think it would have worked. I do remember coming home from meetings and feeling overwhelmed by rage; I remember one day in particular I curled up into a ball and wailed.

My advice would be to take it slowly and ask questions, don't tell him anything. He has to come to the conclusions himself.

What exactly are men at the back of the hall taking care of?

once people have come in, and the doorman and the mic men are in place, why are there a few other suits scattered about at the back?

i saw a guy get up, sit down, get up, sit down, get up and when i looked what he was up to he was reading the noticeboard and looking around, waiting for a bus.

i figured he wasn't doing much at that point, but anything to not stay seated.
